How to get to the Lérins Islands by boat

The Lérins Islands are accessible year-round from several ports on the French Riviera. The shortest trip departs from Quai Laubeuf in Cannes, with a 15 to 20-minute crossing to Sainte-Marguerite, with regular ferries running all day. From Nice, the crossing takes 1 hour and 15 minutes via Trans Côte d’Azur, but only during the season. From Théoule-sur-Mer or Mandelieu, the crossing lasts 30 to 40 minutes. The island of Saint-Honorat is exclusively served by Société Planaria, the company run by Cistercian monks. For private charters, a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) departing from Cannes can reach the islands in under 10 minutes and then allows you to circumnavigate the Lérins coast autonomously.
